Special policy admin arrangement from 21 Mar 2022
For the wellbeing of our customers, business partners and staff amid the current situation of COVID, please note that we are having special work arrangements and most of our staff are working from home. Policy administration services including payment will be arranged as follows with effect from 21 March 2022 until further notice:
Payment:
- Surrender, withdrawal and claim: no cheque issuance will be available during this period of time. All payment will be directly credited to Policy Owner’s or Claimant’s bank account. The relevant bank account number and a copy of bank statement or bank book will be required from the Policy Owner or Claimant as a proof of bank account in case the bank account details do not match with our record. The bank charge of HK$300 will be waived.
- Premium payment (for both initial and regular contributions):
- Settling payment via electronic means (e.g. ebanking transfer, PPS and FPS) is strongly recommended. Payment limit will be varied across different banks.
- For cheque payment, please submit the cheque directly to our HSBC account via HSBC branches or cheque deposit machines. Meanwhile, please provide us with the copy of cheque, deposit slip, Policy Owner’s name and Policy number via email for reconciliation.
