Meeting customer demand for long-term wealth-centric insurance solutions with strong business growth achieved

Heng An Standard Life (Asia) Limited (“HASL Asia”, or the “the Company” hereafter) has won the “Excellence in User Experience, Digital Platform Services – Online Investment Platform Award” again at “Awards for Excellence in Finance 2023” organised by Ming Pao, demonstrating the industry’s recognition of the products and services of the Company. In addition, HASL Asia plans to launch a new investment-linked assurance scheme (ILAS) and bring more investment choices to customers.

Thanks to our dedicated team and the support from our customers as well as business partners, HASL Asia managed to grasp the nettle and more than double our new business premiums in 2022, reflecting the strong demand from customers for long term wealth-centric insurance solutions for retirement planning and various needs in their different life stages.”

HASL Asia has been committed to using innovative technology to bring forth new ideas. The Company has launched the Investment Choices Centre (the “ICC”) in partnership with Morningstar Asia Limited. The ICC offers comprehensive information to customers, such as quotes, data charts and analysis showing cumulative or annual performance of over 260 investment choices under ILAS managed by more than 20 world-renowned fund managers, helping customers manage their portfolios. 

Since the launch of the ICC, the number of visits to the ICC has grown steadily, accounting for 20% of the total number of visits to the Company's website. Furthermore, HASL Asia has introduced over 10 new investment choices under ILAS in late 2022, including investment choices with cash dividends distribution and ESG themes that are well-received by customers. The Company will also launch a new investment-linked insurance plan and offer more investment choices under ILAS to customers in the near future.
