At HASL Asia, sustainable development is a long-term value created not only for our company, but also for the community.
We are very glad that our green contribution has been recognised by Swire Properties’ Green Performance Pledge (“GPP”), with a silver tier achieved under the “Green Points” Recognition Scheme.
The GPP is a performance-based agreement that aims to provide an action-oriented roadmap to guide the sustainable development partnership as landlord and tenant to jointly contribute to creating a more sustainable community.
By leveraging on such partnership, HASL Asia has successfully reduced certain level of energy and water usage and increased waste diversion rates. Those green actions help achieve tangible cost savings, and promote the sustainable development mind-set to our people.
Olivia Liu, HASL Asia CEO, said, “Recently in the Summer Davos in Tianjin, our parent company Heng An Standard Life pledges to support the China government to achieve the goals on planting, protecting and conserving 70 billion trees by 2030. Plus the recognition HASL Asia has gained from Swire Properties “Green Points” Recognition Scheme, the long-term sustainable development is embedded in our corporate values. We will carry on this momentum and be committed to building a more sustainable environment.”
