2015’s Global Corporate Challenge begins!

Standard Life continues green support and welcomes spring with annual lunch

The Global Corporate Challenge (GCC) is a workplace health and engagement programme, aiming to improve the health and lifestyle of employees across the globe. Firmly believing that overall well-being benefits the performance of our staff, Standard Life has offered its employees the opportunity to take part in the GCC for the fourth year running.

The challenge, taking place between 27 May-4 September, is designed to encourage a sustainable, active lifestyle, with those taking part receiving nutritional tips to create healthy eating habits that will last long after the programme ends.

In Hong Kong this year, Standard Life has 21 employees taking part across three teams. Participants are encouraged to take at least 10,000 steps per day, as part of the programme’s virtual walk around the world.

At Standard Life, we value our employees, and know the importance of looking after their health and well-being. As our people improve their health, we reach optimal performance, allowing us to provide the very best service to customers.

Standard Life is one of thousands of companies from around the world to compete in this 100-day challenge. Last year, we came 9th out of 1,200 competing companies.

As the challenge continues, teams will share their progress with us, and we look forward to hearing their success stories.
